About Us

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), one of the five departments of Ram Krishna Mahato Government Engineering College Purulia (RKMGECP) started functioning in 2016 with an AICTE approved intake of 60 students. The department has an approval for the additional 20% of approved intake in lateral entry provisions. The Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program of the department of ECE is affiliated under Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT). The department has a mix of young and experienced teachers. The department acts as a well-knit unit with good understanding among the members of the faculty, technical staffs and students.
